NOVOTEST T-D3 Leeb Hardness Tester
The Leeb method of hardness testing of metals is the most popular because of its ease of use. The user does not need to have special skills and or knowledge in the field of hardness measurement, to perform the measurement, it is necessary to load the impact body of the probe of the device, install the probe on the tested surface, press the probe release button and the hardness value will be displayed on the device screen.
This method is recommended for large products, weighing 5 kg and more and 10 mm thick and more, but, subject to certain product mounting requirements, it is also possible to measure small parts.
Scales and materials – the machine comes with pre-calibrations for various scales and materials, making the machine universal.
- Scales: HRC, HRB, HB, HV, HL, MPa.
- Materiales: steel, alloy steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminium, bronze, brass, copper.
Low surface quality and material structure requirements
The Leeb NOVOTEST T-D3 hardness tester can be used for products with a poorly prepared surface (roughness of 3.2 Ra and more) as well as for materials with a coarse-grained structure, such as cast iron and others.

NOVOTEST T-UD2 Combined Hardness Tester
Combined Hardness Tester NOVOTEST T-UD2 is designed for rapid non-destructive hardness testing of:
- metals and alloys on standardized hardness scales
- metals with different properties from steel (for example, non-ferrous metals, alloys, cast iron, etc.) with additional scales for calibration
- use the scale of tensile strength (Rm) for determining the tensile strength of carbon steel products pearlitic by automatically converting from Brinell (HB) hardness scale.
Device implements 2 methods of testing: rebound (Leeb) and ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI). The combination of both methods allows user to test all range of metal products.

NOVOTEST T-U2 UCI Hardness Tester
NOVOTEST T-U2 is the world’s best hardness tester operating on UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) technology.
Unlike the Leeb NOVOTEST T-D2 hardness tester and the Leeb NOVOTEST T-D3 hardness tester, the UCI hardness tester can test the hardness of products with small or thin walls, as well as products with complex shapes or hard-to-reach areas.
The UCI NOVOTEST T-U2 Hardness Tester is designed for rapid non-destructive hardness testing for:
- metals and alloys on international standardized hardness scales: Rockwell (HRC), Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV)
- metals with distinction in steel properties (e.g. non-ferrous metals, iron alloys and others) using five additional scales for calibration.

NOVOTEST TS-B-C2 Digital Brinell Hardness Tester
The NOVOTEST TS-B-C2 is an advanced digital hardness tester designed for testing alloy, hardened steel and metal parts in laboratories. The tester implements the Brinell hardness test method according to ISO 6506-2 and ASTM E10 and is equipped with a photoelectric sensor to measure the diameter of the indentations, while the microprocessor control unit automatically calculates and displays the hardness value. This hardness tester is the most functional model among Brinell benchtop hardness testers. Its versatility and wide range of test forces make it applicable to soft metals such as tin, aluminum and lead, as well as hardened steel, non-ferrous alloys and castings, and soft alloy bearings. This Brinell hardness tester provides more accurate readings for low hardness values compared to Rockwell hardness testers.

NOVOTEST TS-R Analog Rockwell Hardness Tester
Rockwell Hardness Tester NOVOTEST TS-R implements the Rockwell hardness test method in line with ISO 6508-2 and ASTM E18.
The metal hardness test method is based on the testing of resistance to indentation. The Rockwell hardness tester TS-R is reliable, easy in operation and service.
TS-R is a bench-type hardness tester on a rigid rack. TS-R allows measuring the hardness value by three hardness scales (HRA, HRB, and HRC) with loads of 60, 100, and 150 kgf. The device has 2 indeters: a classical Rockwell diamond indenter with the 120-degrees tip, and the indenter with hard-alloy ball tip of 1/16 inch (1.5875 mm) in diameter. The operator can see the results of hardness testing on the large, easy-to-read dial. The testers offer high sensitivity and stability and are suitable for testing in workshops and laboratories.
