NOVOTEST T-U2 UCI Hardness Tester

NOVOTEST T-U2 is the world’s best hardness tester operating on UCI (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) technology.

Unlike the Leeb NOVOTEST T-D2 hardness tester and the Leeb NOVOTEST T-D3 hardness tester, the UCI hardness tester can test the hardness of products with small or thin walls, as well as products with complex shapes or hard-to-reach areas.

The UCI NOVOTEST T-U2 Hardness Tester is designed for rapid non-destructive hardness testing for:

• metals and alloys on international standardized hardness scales: Rockwell (HRC), Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV)
• metals with distinction in steel properties (e.g. non-ferrous metals, iron alloys and others) using five additional scales for calibration.

Minimal destruction

The imprint after measuring with UCI hardnes tester is very small, the method is considered the most non-destructive of the known implemented in portable hardness testers. Also, the shallow penetration of the indenter makes it possible to measure the hardness of hardened layers, such as nitriding, cementation, etc.
