Form Talysurf PGI Freeform - Taylor Hobson

The Form Talysurf PGI Freeform (Phase Grating Interferometer) is a versatile, high-resolution 3D Freeform profilometer for high precision measurement. It performs surface finish and form analysis for freeform optics. It enables 3D (raster/radial) lens measurement and analysis:

      • Spherical
      • Aspherical
      • Diffractive
      • Freeform

The Form Talysurf PGI Freeform can work with many of the latest equations used for definition of freeform surfaces such as Toric, Bi-conic, Anamorphic asphere, Ellipsoid, NURBS, Zernike, A-Cylinder and Cloud of points.

The integrity and reproducibility of measurements made with PGI Freeform is supported by ultra-precise design and manufacturing (FEA – Fine Element Analysis). This ensures low noise and near flawless mechanical execution of the axes.

With the new dedicated software interface, precise freeform measurements are easy to set up and analyse. PGI Freeform’s versatility makes it the complete solution for optical metrology.

3D calibration capability delivers unparalleled measurement

      • Unique, new true 3D calibration
      • Corrects for alignment errors beyond those mechanically possible
      • Critical for accurate 3D measurements
      • Measurement accuracy from 100 nm (PV)
      • Typical form errors with 3D calibration – <150 nm.
