Laser marking system - LASIT TowerMark CXZ

Towermark CXZ has a pneumatic door on 3 sides that allows to comfortably work and load pieces larger than the machine’s width. The XZ axes are controlled by servomotors with encoder. The working travel of the Z axis is 450mm, which allows marking pieces of up to 450mm.

The working travel of the X axis is 500mm, which, in combination with the lens with a ø140mm marking area, achieves a 600x100mm marking area. This allows the operator to mark very long details without moving them and to mark pallets full of small pieces automatically.

Marking on the cylinder has not been as easy as with the FlyCAD software in combination with the W axis. The resolution of the Axis W is 65,536 steps / rev and the mechanics is so precise that there are no appreciable radial games. This is an essential condition for obtaining precise markings without notice of the conjunction between the different parts of the design.

Towermark CXZ’s movement along the X and Z axes allows marking a 600x100mm area, which can be used to mark a single piece or a  pallet with tens or hundreds of small pieces, while retaining perfect centering.

Towermark CXZ has been developed with a vertical opening on three sides so as to guarantee quick and convenient access to the marking compartment. Furthermore, by wearing safety goggles and working with the door open you can also mark large pieces.
